Queen Annes School, Caversham, Berkshire RG4 6DX (just across the River Thames from Reading) has excellent facilities and transport links. There is plenty of parking and the grounds are large, green and leafy (35 acres in total) but the school is only ¼ mile from shops, pubs and restaurants, and just one mile from Reading Station, with trains from just about anywhere in the country including London Paddington, Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham and Gatwick, and a rail-air bus link from Heathrow.
The picturesque village of Sonning is situated on the Thames only two miles from the school, with several charming pubs and restaurants. The riverside town of Henley on Thames is only five miles away and there are interesting National Trust properties nearby.
The Thames Path runs alongside the Thames and just 1½ miles from the school at Sonning Eye there is a nature reserve which has lovely walks around the lakes.

Accommodation is in two new purpose-built houses, close to the main school, in single or twin rooms. One block has ensuite rooms, which will be allocated to those who apply first! The rooms in the other block all have washbasins, with showers nearby.
There is a reduction of £25 each for those sharing a twin room.
There are two wheelchair-accessible bedrooms.
Vegetarian options are available and special dietary requirements can be catered for if notified in advance.
Wine, beer and soft drinks will be available at meals and in the common room in the evenings.
There is free WiFi throughout the site and we have use of the swimming pool at certain times.
All the playing rooms and the dining hall are arranged around the horseshoe-shaped main school building very compact and with most of the rooms on the ground floor. Vehicular access for harpsichord delivery is very close. Five of the playing rooms have wheelchair access.
